Who We Are

MUNKA Studio is a shared gallery and maker space in the heart of Lewiston’s downtown. Located at 221 Lisbon Street and housed in an iconic historical building, MUNKA Studio is within walking distance to many of Lewiston’s great restaurants, coffee shops, and more. You’ll gain 24/7 access to work in a reflective space that inspires creativity. In addition, the shared gallery space–planned and driven by members–provides a space to display and present your art.

Membership Plans

Open Studio Space

$400/month

Just off the gallery, we have dedicated studio space in a shared setting. The floor plan is 8ft by 8ft and includes easy access to power outlets located in the floor. The dividing walls are 6ft high which provides privacy while still allowing natural light to flow through the space.

Private Studio Space

$450/month

We have private studios located above the gallery space in a variety of sizes and configurations. All include tall ceilings and large windows which allow for an abundance of natural light.
